has been admitted as a Solicitor (England & Wales) since 2014 and as a German Rechtsanwalt since 2016. Before he joined VOSSIUS & PARTNER in 2015, he worked for an international law firm in London.
Mr. Förster advises clients on national and international patent infringement matters, as well as representing clients in both court and out-of-court proceedings. In the wake of the new Unitary Patent Court (UPC) Mr. Förster is also assisting clients in developing strategies for dealing with this new European system.
Mr. Förster studied law at the University of Exeter (England) and the Saarland University, where he obtained his LL.M. degree. He then completed the postgraduate Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the Kaplan Law School in London. In 2016 Mr. Förster successfully passed the German Lawyer Transfer Test (Eignungsprüfung) before the State Examination Board in Dusseldorf, and was admitted to the profession of Rechtsanwalt in Germany.
Mr. Förster is fluent in German, English and French.
