Dr. Peter A. Rauh
studied inorganic, organic, analytical and physical chemistry, physics, biochemistry, mathematics, and quantum mechanics at the Universities of Munich and Paris. After receiving his doctorate in 1974, he was employed as an assistant at the University of Munich for two years before he was trained to become a German Patent Attorney (Patentanwalt) and a European Patent Attorney in the firm of VOSSIUS & PARTNER from 1976 to 1979. Dr. Rauh has been a European Trademark Attorney since 1996; he has been a partner in the firm since 1980. Dr. Rauh has authored publications on the patentability of second medical use inventions and on the problem of novelty and inventive step in inventions having proteins or DNA sequences as their subject matter.
