is admitted as an Attorney-at-Law (Rechtsanwalt) in Germany since 2013 and joined VOSSIUS & PARTNER at the beginning of 2015. Dr. Jentsch advises national and international clients in patent litigation and in out-of-court disputes as well as in licensing contracts. In addition, he advises in the field of employees’ inventions law.
Dr. Jentsch studied law at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich including competition law, intellectual property and media law and spent two Semesters at the University of Seville in Spain. During his studies, he worked at an IP law firm in Munich as well as at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition. Accompanying his legal clerkship, Dr. Jentsch worked in the patent department of an international law firm in Munich. Additionally, he worked in the United States in a large international IP law firm in Washington D.C. in the field of patents. After his legal clerkship, Mr. Jentsch completed his doctoral thesis in the field of licensing law, titled “Usufruct of a Patent”, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Theo Bodewig. While writing his dissertation, he worked in the legal department of a Munich-based global electronics company.
