was born in Tokyo, Japan. In 2011, he received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering at Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan. He worked as a research scientist in Paul-Drude-Institute for Solid State Electronics, collaborating with Helmholtz Center Berlin for Materials and Energy. During this time, he was awarded two fellowships from Leibniz-DAAD and Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. His research topic was semiconductor nanowires for light emitting diodes (LEDs) and solar water splitting. His expertise includes crystal growth, semiconductor physics, optoelectronics, nanotechnology, material science and photoelectrochemistry. Dr. Jumpei Kamimura joined VOSSIUS & PARTNER in 2018. Since then, he has been training to become a European Patent Attorney.
