Dr. Florian Grasser
studied biology at the Ludwigs-Maximilians-University in Munich with the main subject human genetics and the minor subjects genetics, immunology, organic chemistry and cell biology. He prepared his diploma thesis as well as his PhD thesis at the department of human genetics at the Ludwigs-Maximilians-University. The research focus during the diploma thesis was on the replication-timing-dependent spatial chromatin arrangement in the interphase nucleus of cancer and primate cells. The subject of the PhD thesis was the nuclear positioning of developmental genes in vertebrates. During his PhD thesis he was a member of the international PhD program „Max Planck Research School for Molecular and Cellular Life Sciences” of the Max-Planck-Gesellschaft.

Dr. Florian Grasser works for Vossius & Partner since 2009 and was admitted to practice as a European Patent Attorney in 2013 and as a German Patent Attorney in 2017.
