was born 1984 in Stuttgart. He studied chemistry at the Friedrich Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU; Erlangen, Germany) and worked on his diploma thesis in the field of organometallic chemistry. Funded by a scholarship from the "Elite Network of Bavaria", he finished his doctoral thesis titled "Synthesis and characterization of novel photocatalysts for overall water splitting" (summa cum laude) and published his results in numerous publications. He gained international experience during his research stays at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT; Cambridge, USA) and the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH; Stockholm, Sweden).
Dr. Robert Staehle joined Vossius & Partner at their Munich office in 2015 and is currently training to become a German and European patent attorney.
