Dr. Dirk Günther
studied biochemistry and law at the Free University of Berlin.
After his diploma thesis at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics in the field of protein biochemistry and structural biology he earned his Ph.D. at the Max Planck Institutes for Infection Biology in Tübingen and Berlin. The doctoral thesis focussed on cellular and molecular aspects of a pro-apoptotic VDAC-like porin. Dr. Günther was involved in several post-grant proceedings before the European Patent Office in the fields of pharmaceuticals, diagnostics and microarray technology. He joined VOSSIUS & PARTNER in 2000 and was admitted to practice as a European Patent Attorney in 2009.
