We are pleased to announce that our office has arranged for the 21st year running a training course on European and German patent law from 12th to 24th September 2010.
This training course will give practitioners with experience in patents an in-depth understanding of German and European patent law with particular emphasis on patent prosecution, opposition and litigation. Lectures and workshops, including working on hypothetical cases, will be held from
9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and
2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
The course will begin with a reception on Sunday, 12 September 2010.
The lectures will be held in English. Additionally, we are pleased to be able to offer various guest lectures by members of the EPO and from the USA. In addition to the lectures, a hearing in an oppositon case before the European Patent Office is on the program. There will be a trip to Neuschwanstein castle and Linderhof Castle, a visit to the famous Munich Oktoberfest, and optionally a visit to sports or cultural events.
